24 is one of the most ingenious, innovative and acclaimed dramas on television. In this drama, the action takes place within one 24 hour period. That means a season may be considerate a day and we can say we watch it in real time. It is a unique concept.

24 is also known for making major changes to its main cast every season. Kiefer Sutherland and Glenn Morshower are the only actors who appear in all six seasons. The storyline is unpredictable… main cast members are added and dropped frequently.

Season 1 begins and ends at 12:00 AM. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is the head of an elite team of CIA agents. He must protect Senator David Palmer from an assassination plot. As Bauer investigates the threat against Palmer, he realizes that there is probably someone on the inside. Jack becomes incapacitated and only has his mobile phone and the help of his trusted colleague, Nina Myers. Meanwhile, his wife, Teri tries to find their troubled teenage daughter, who sneaked out with her friend Janet. With his family in danger, we live with Bauer the longest day of his life.

Incredibly well directed and with brilliant actors, the show worth every minute. The first season of 24 is all about the loss of trust.

Anything can happen in an instant. The debut season of 24 is one of the most daring and exciting television series I’ve ever seen.
