Unfortunately, terrorists don’t understand the message: stay clear of L.A.! Jack Bauer is around… Kiefer Sutherland returns to deal with other threats to national security. After, in the third season, a viral contagion was the flavor of the day, now Bauer and CTU must deal with four separate attacks: the kidnapping of the Secretary of Defense, a mass nuclear reactor meltdown, an assault on Air Force
One and, finally, a nuclear warhead launch. Is complicated… even for a “mighty hero” like Jack Bauer.
At first, only Jack and Chloe return from seasons past. On the way the veterans begin to reappear: Tony, Michelle, Palmer and Mike Novick. Wise decision…
But it all begins and ends with Jack Bauer, a complete character. Actually, this season is tough to describe without reminding any of the killer moments, because, there’s so many of them. Bauer has never been so brutal. Is a hugely entertaining season… especially because Jack has to use unorthodox methods to stop the attacks, methods which will have long-term consequences for both Jack and the U.S.
