Kiefer Sutherland races the clock once more as Jack Bauer. Set 18 months after season 4, season 5 begins and ends at 7:00 AM. One of the biggest twists of the entire series is uncovered during the first 10 minutes of the first episode. Except a few of his closest friends, everyone think that Jack is dead.
Jack is forced to return to L.A. because the lives of the only four people, who know he isn’t dead, are in danger. Tragically, Palmer is assassinated and Tony and Michelle are injured and killed by a car bomb. Chloe finds herself also a target and makes the risky call to Jack to warn him. She thinks there’s a connection between these events and him… and she’s right.
There’s a big question mark: “who’s behind the curtain, pulling the strings?” Returning for this season are many of season four’s regulars including portly computer ace Edgar, Audrey Raines, Jack’s former flame, Wayne Palmer, David’s brother and Secretary of Defense, Heller.
There’s nothing like this show on television and it’s worth discovering…
