A proverb says: “What goes up must come down.” 24 – Season 6 is not an exception. It was tough for the producers to live up to expectations on this season. Set 20 months after season 5, day 6 starts with Jack Bauer being handed over to American authorities after 20 brutal months in Chinese custody.
Now we see a man battered, bruised and scarred from over a year of torture. Is a different image of what we were used to.
Like we’ve seen before Jack begins another cat and mouse hunt with the terrorists. It’s like the writers are out of ideas…
The first four episodes of the season are very dramatic and exciting. It seems that there are all the ingredients for an amazing season, but slowly and steady, the show begins to collapse, excepting a few good scenes. The final showdown is certainly one of them. Luckily, the acting on the show has always been great.

Maybe the writers will come up with something better in the next season.
