24: Day 7: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM / 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
On January 11, after a year and a half away, Fox released the first two episodes of “24″ season 7. The first installments have less action than the beginning of previous seasons, but seem much more solid. Day 7 stanches out with many intriguing events and with the promise of a wild season.
Day 7: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
So it begins… Near the Capitol building in Washington, a man is kidnapped by a group of masked men. Meanwhile, Jack Bauer starts the seventh hellish day of his life being questioned regarding his use of interrogation techniques. He refuses to be represented by an attorney and decides to take the case in his own hands.
Before anything happens, Renee Walker, an attractive FBI agent, interrupts the hearing and takes Jack away. The Bureau needs his help to locate the leader of a terrorist organization who might take control over the nation’s infrastructure. Surprise, surprise, surprise… the leader is nobody else than the supposed dead Tony Almeida. Jack doubts of Tony being a terrorist and thinks that he must have some reasons for what he’s doing.
Meanwhile, at the White House the new President, Allison Taylor, deals with the consequences of “24: Redemption”. (If you haven’t watched the movie yet, now is the time for it.)
She decides to send aid and troops into Sangala. There took place a coup and thousands of people are dying. Allison’s husband helps her by trying to convince a journalist to keep secret the fact that the government is getting involved in Sangala. Behind the scene, the two have a few issues because he can’t give to the idea their son committed suicide.
Day 7: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
For the first ten minutes of this episodes Tony manages to control the air traffic and takes us on a wild ride. He orchestrates a collision between two planes, but at the last minute, Tony tells one of the pilots to pull up and the two planes narrowly miss each other. He and his crew also succeed to activate the CIP device. Meanwhile, Jack is convinced that inside the Bureau is a leak of information. He notices a suspicious guy and decides to follow him. The guy leads Bauer and his new partner to Tony.
The President meets with former Sangalan President to convince him to make Juma accountable for his crimes in a proper court. She doesn’t want an execution. Allison Taylor finds out about Tony Almeida and realizes they don’t have many options. Elsewhere, Henry continues his investigation to find out the truth about his son’s death.
“24″ is back… with a different approach and more exciting than ever.
