Amazingly, FOX managed to come up with a different concept of crime-related TV Show. “Bones” is a darkly amusing drama inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs.
Dr. Temperence Brennan, a brilliant anthropologist, works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington DC. She has the ability to read clues left behind in a victim’s bones. Dr. Brennan is approached by an ambitious FBI agent, Seely Booth, to help the bureau solve a series of unsolved crimes by identifying the bodies of missing persons by their bone structure. Her help is needed because in some cases the remains are so badly burned, decomposed or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless.
She also has a strong and trusting team: Angela Montenegro is specialized in forensic facial reconstruction, Dr. Jack Hodgins, is an expert on insects, spores and minerals, Brennan’s boss Dr. Daniel Goodman and Zack Addy whose genius IQ sometimes distances him from reality.
Definitely is fascinating and it worth watching…
