Previously in the highest, sharpest, strangest and “clowniest” episode ever, Brennan and Booth went undercover, as a Canadian knife throwing act, to investigate a death in the circus world. Let’s face it… you don’t see that every day! The show succeeded to surprise us again when, the next hour of “Bones” caught us with a winter mood that studded hockey and skating, but also an incredible twist.

The episode begins with a hockey game. Booth plays for his local team. During the match, one of his players is technically hacked. Because the referee is on the fence, Booth takes the matter into his own hands and starts a fight. A few months later, while he and Brennan investigate another murder, a father and son find a frozen body in a pond when ice-fishing.
The victim turns out to be the rival hockey player Booth fought with so, our Special Agent becomes the prime suspect. The team works with FBI Agent Payton Perotta trying to find the real killer. Meanwhile, Booth gets back onto the ice and receives some advice from one of his hockey idols, former Los Angeles Kings star, Luc Robitaille.

“Fire in the Ice” ended with a romantic moment…
All in all, it’s a good episode.
