Previously on “Criminal Minds”, the BAU team dealt with a killer who turned the art of picking up women into a deadly skill. He perfected his skills of persuasion to entice women into danger. This week’s killer specifically targets officers on the police force in Phoenix, Arizona and as a former cop, Morgan takes it personally.
Before this season’s premiere, Ed Bernero revealed some of the upcoming storylines for Paget Brewster who plays Emily Prentiss the police procedural. According to the show runner, Emily has a secret.
“We have a real surprise in the middle of the season about her life. I think it will make total sense when it comes out, but I don’t think that you will see it coming. We’re excited about it, and Paget is very excited about it. It’s something that we’ve talked about behind the scenes, as “this is the secret”, but we’re going to reveal it this year and give an interesting back story to that character.”
