Criminal Minds Season 4 Episode 11 “Normal” Preview
“Criminal Minds” returns tonight… “Normal” is an intriguing episode in which the BAU team investigates the case of a serial killer who targets luxury car owners as they drive along Southern California freeways. The case is complicated because the murderer chooses his victims randomly and his description is very generic. Meanwhile, JJ brings her baby to BAU headquarters to introduce him to the team.
Actually, JJ returns earlier than expected. The “Criminal Minds” actress filmed the special scene not very long after giving birth to her son Mekhai Allan Andersen on September 13. According to a source, she looked “absolutely fabulous” as a new mammy. After tonight’s installment, she, as well as her character, will enjoy a proper maternity leave. This captivating special agent is expected to return to the police procedural series full time starting with episode 14, which likely will air sometime in February.
This episode features Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Faith Ford (“Murphy Brown”), Screen Actors Guild nominee Mitch Pileggi (“The X Files”) and actress Elaine Hendrix (“Joan of Arcadia”, “The Chronicle”).
Mitch Pileggi’s character, Norman Hill, is “a man having an extremely difficult time with loss in his life”.
Elaine Hendrix, who plays Judy Hannity, said: “I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say or not but I will say this: I have a heavy character who, unlike so many of my other characters, is more of a victim. Though part of the torment for my character is: Am I really (a victim)? The plot is very trippy.”
“Normal” also allowed Elaine Hendrix to reunite with her former “Joan of Arcadia” colleague Joe Mantegna, though they had no scenes together.
