Believe it or not, even in “Desperate Housewives”, the financial crisis gathers way. Unlike the show’s past installments, “In a World Where the Kings are Employers” was unique through its darkness. Orson’s tentative and at the same time his success to find out Bree’s password, Gabrielle blackmailing her husband’s boss were moments fated to prepare us for the wild ride that the show is about to take.
This Sunday, after a three week break, “Desperate Housewives” returns with a new episode… “Crime Doesn’t Pay”. Because “a friend in need is a friend indeed”, Bree tells Lynette she’ll help Tom find a new job. Unpredictably, her best intentions will degenerate into a conflict which will reveal Orson’s shameful misdeeds. Meanwhile, Carlos’ adulterous boss begins using Gabrielle as an alibi for his squishy escapades and Edie pokes and pries into Dave’s past.
