In “Gray Hour”, Echo’s mission was to steal an important piece of art. Unfortunately, something went wrong and her new identity was wiped after a simple phone call leaving her confused, helpless right in the middle of a heavy situation. Later, we found out that Echo’s identity wiping wasn’t a coincidence at all and Alpha was involved.
I think Alpha subjects Echo to some tests. Unlike “The Target”, when he was testing her survival skills, in this episode he tried to take Echo out of her sanctuary showing her the beauty but also the ferocity of the real world. It was an interesting twist which definitely added excitement, but there was something missing… This week, “Dollhouse” returns with a new episode. In “True Believer”, Echo’s new mission is to infiltrate, as a blind woman, into a very secretive and well guarded cult in order to bring down its leader. She has a hard row to hoe and kind of strange. It remains to be seen if she will ride out the storm…
