Ghost Whisperer Season 4 Episode 8 “Heart And Soul”
“Ghost Whisperer” brought us the most romantic episode ever… After Jim’s tragic death, the show gives the couple a chance to relive their relationship with a whole new perspective.
In “Heart And Soul” Melinda finds herself drawn to a man (identified as Sam or Jim) who is suffering from amnesia. This unveils again her selfless need to serve those around her, causing her to assist the man in regaining his memory. Delia encourages her friend to do everything it takes to make this second chance work.
On the other hand, it’s definitely a risk to use such a formulaic concept like amnesia for this show. A lot of characters on numerous drama series have fallen prey to this concept and barely survived. Let’s hope that “Ghost Whisperer” will be an exception and they’ll reinvent the Melinda-Jim storyline.
