After keeping its fans on tenterhooks for more than a month, “Gossip Girl” returned last week with “The Age of Dissonance”, an inceptive episode fated to reopen our appetite for the series. As a starter, the teens were art and part in a stage play which turned out quite well. Then, the intrigues ran riot. Vanessa and Nate’s moments were entertaining while Serena managed to impress the producer of the play only, he proved to be gay. Rachel showed her true colors when she practiced on Dan’s credulity. Elle turn out to be a profiteer. Chuck came groveling to Blair, but she found solace in Carter’s arms.
This week, in a moment of weakness, Blair decides to explore her dark side. Serena and Chuck have serious concerns about their friend and try to help her. Vanessa convinces Nate to forgive and forget the harm provoked by his mother’s relatives. Willing to be completely honest with each other, Rufus and Lily decide to share lists of their past lovers. “The Grandfather” airs tonight… Don’t miss it!
