If you are one of those people who voted for the “Create Your Hero” contest that Sprint and NBC organized, then you should be excited to find out that Heroes Destiny Part 1 is online now. The winner of the contest was Santiago, played by a Colombian actor, Roberto Urbina.

In the first part, titled “Let Us Pray”, Santiago discovers he has powers during a traffic incident and later, meets a pretty girl with a sad story. Meanwhile, in the background, an icy blonde American woman follows them.

Here’s more about Santiago:

Santiago is an ordinary young man living in Lima, Peru. He is a soccer player who also works as an auto mechanic and has a burning desire to accomplish something that will make his mother truly proud. Influenced by his Catholic faith, his mother and his friends, Santiago has been searching for his destiny. When he discovers his extraordinary gifts of “accelerated probability” and super speed, things begin to change. He believes his abilities are a gift from God and realizes he is no longer helpless.

Nevertheless, temptations are at every step… Will he use his newfound ability for good or for evil?
