Heroes Season 3… From Villains to Fugitives
“Heroes” Season 3 Volume 4 “Fugitives” Preview

Now that “Villains” is over and “Fugitives” is about to begin on February 2… we have the chance to see the next chapter’s evil face. Hitting below the belt, Nathan is determined to capture people with abilities and put them in a facility where they can’t hurt anyone.
“Dual” was an exciting episode which guided us along three different stories and also let us a little bit confused… with many burning questions:
Who are Sylar’s parents? Is he still alive? Did Peter recover all his powers when he injected himself with the Formula? Will Hiro ever get his powers back? What will happen to him without his powers? Who is good and who is evil… after all? With all these mixed alliances it’s almost impossible to distinguish who is really a hero and who is a villain.
“Fugitives” promises to elucidate these riddles and bring the show back to the characters. Bryan Fuller said, in a recent interview, that among the Heroes writers, “everybody knows what needs to be fixed and everybody is sort of rowing in that direction”.
He also revealed some juicy details about “Fugitives”: The characters will pick up the threads of their real lives. We’ll see Peter as a paramedic and Claire looking for colleges. We will “get away from the world of formulas and quasi-magic” and Matt’s wife Janice will come out of the blue… with a super baby.
“Heroes” Season 3 Volume 4 “Fugitives” Sneak Peak
“People will die… and some will return.”
“Fugitives” will feature the deaths of two more heroes, both “significant” women characters. Let’s see who could be “the victims”! Angela Petrelli could be hoist by her own petard. Sylar will still be looking to revenge for what she did to him.
Claire… I think the writers will play it safe and they will not kiss off her, considering Hayden Panettiere’s current popularity. Daphne isn’t a possible victim because she and Matt dovetail. Thanks to her, Matt is a viable character.
On the other hand, Maya could be an easy target in “Fugitives”… she isn’t very popular. Would Sandra’s death count as “significant”? It’s not out of the question. In the first season of “Heroes”, when the producers were promising us a “big surprising death”, they killed innocent Simone, so… never say never. Another very real possibility… Tracy. Although she began as an enigmatic character, lately no one likes her.
