After a long summer without “Heroes”, last week, the show returned for its fourth season with a two hour premiere, new mysteries, new villains and last but not least, new heroes. First things first… a monologue of Samuel, the leader of a mysterious carnival clan, highlights some of the events of the past volumes and what will happen henceforth, as familiar faces adjust to their new surroundings.

Claire struggles to find her place in college. However, before you can say Jack Robinson, her roommate meets a violent death, spotlighting our cheerleader once again. In the meantime, Ando and Hiro continue their mission to help people by promoting their abilities. Nathan feels that something is wrong, but Angela appeases him. Howbeit, his suspicions are inflamed when he discovers he has the ability that Sylar stole from Elle. Nathan asks Peter’s help, but he’s too busy saving the world. Meanwhile, an unexpected guest pays Matt a few visits seeking something he lost. Noah and Peter find a compass which can detect people who have special abilities. Shortly, after being at death’s door, HRG joins forces with Tracy hoping to solve the mystery behind a horrific crime. Surprises don’t end here… an enigmatic carnival clan whose intentions are unknown steps into the picture.
