House Season 5 Episode 1 Dying Changes Everything

“Dying Changes Everything” focuses on the way wherein certain events affect people and the relationships between them. Following the death of his girlfriend and an absence of a few months, Wilson comes to the drastic decision of leaving the hospital and making a fresh start. While Foreman gives his heartily approval to James’ resolution, Cameron understands it and House and Cuddy oppugn it. In this episode, everyone has a little part to play and it works perfectly, but it’s quite heartbreaking to watch Wilson and House at odds.
On the other hand, the medical case of the episode knits with Thirteen and how the precise diagnostic concerning her illness changes her. She sees Huntington’s disease as a death sentence and tries to live every moment of her life as if it were the last one. This point of view doesn’t seem to pass muster for a patient arrived at the hospital after a hallucination about ants. While Thirteen does her utmost to work the ropes without House, the latter returns to her job, happy to be around powerful people, but keeping shady.
They paint the reality… there is a place in this world for each of us and, in one way or another, matters what we do. Meanwhile, Kutner has all sorts of revelations and Taub acts like a voice of reason, but when it comes to taking risks, he is hard up against it. At the end are disclosed the real motives which drove Wilson to resignation. One thing we know for sure… House remains as annoying, funny and mysterious as ever.
