House Season 5 Episode 17 “The Social Contract” Preview

Previously, House tried a dangerous but effective treatment to alleviate his leg pain. He quit Vicodin in favor of methadone, a synthetic drug. House shocked his team shaving, wearing costume and acting way too nicely, but the side effects of the treatment could be deadly. Fortunately, he got back on his old routine on time, not without saying: “This is the only me you get.” Like always, the case of the week was a labyrinth of interwoven conditions. The mixed symptoms masked dehydration.

“House” returns with a new episode on March 9. In “The Social Contract”, the team deals with Nick’s case, a book editor. Due to a frontal lobe inhibition, he has no control over what he says or to make a long story short… the patient is just like House who always speaks his mind.
