House Season 5 Episode 20 “Simple Explanation” Preview

520h

Previously on “House”… After a motorcycle accident in New York, House ended up in a hospital next to Lee, a patient suffering from complete paralysis. Although the doctors declared him brain dead, House noticed brain activity through his eyes (the pupils weren’t fixed). The case wiped up our doctor’s interest and he transferred Lee to Princeton Plainsboro to determine the correct diagnosis.

Most of the episode was seen through the patient’s eyes giving us the opportunity to experience the feeling of being captive in a body without the possibility to communicate. While the team struggled to find a cure, Lee passed from agony to panic and also felt concern about his family. The final scene when House’s eyesight blurred left us in suspense.
In “Simple Explanation”… Charlotte collapses from respiratory failure at her husband deathbed and is taken to Princeton Plainsboro for treatment. She spent the last six months taking care of the love of her life, Eddie. The team is perplexed when, suddenly his condition improves while her situation worsens. As both of their lives draw to an end, Charlotte informs the doctors that she wants Eddie to have her heart. The team must take a very difficult decision.

“Simple Explanation” airs on April 6. Don’t miss it!
