Jericho – The Beginning of The End

Jericho is a drama about the after-effects of a nuclear explosion in the once peaceful town of Jericho. The series begins with a visible nuclear detonation of unknown origin in nearby Denver, Colorado. With the loss of power and modern communications, Jericho remains isolated. The citizens try to restore the town’s power and communication with the outside world.
The main character in this story is Jake Green. The 32 year old son of Mayor Johnston Green returns home to visit his family and friends. Trapped in his hometown, Jake steps up to become a leader in Jericho, fighting to protect the town and its citizens.
As the country’s new leaders, the Cheyenne government, rule the entire region. Meanwhile, Jericho’s citizens struggle to survive in a changed world. An important question still remains: why this small community is so important to this newly formed government. One of the newest residents, Robert Hawkins, knows much more about the attacks than he admits.
“Jericho” is mostly known for the intense fan campaign that kept it on the air for a second season.
