Kyle XY Season 3 Episode 2 “Psychic Friend” Preview
Did last week’s premiere go beyond my expectations? I hadn’t made up my mind yet. Basically, it was a good start for the season. “It Happened One Night” picks up exactly from the point where season two’s finale left off: even in the prom night Amanda mysteriously disappeared, kind of a Cinderella story.
Captured by the same organization that kidnapped Amanda, Kyle is locked in a room and subjected to some tests. Using his abilities, he manages to escape and starts looking for Amanda. One of my main problems with this episode is related to Kyle’s abilities… suddenly way too advanced. This teen from Seattle had already beaten the teen from Smallville… He has super hearing, super sight, superpower, super speed, the ability of levitation, telekinesis and the power of healing. He can freeze a steel reinforced door and manipulate the properties of water. Wow!!! Did I miss something?
Tonight, “Kyle XY” returns with a new episode, “Psychic Friend”. Choosing to help Kyle, Jessi lost the chance to a normal life alongside the woman who lent her the genes, but exactly this will transform her into a guest, on an undetermined period of time, in the Trager house. Frightened of Latnok, a nightmare and a psychic, Kyle fears for Amanda’s life. As he becomes over protective, Amanda decides she needs space. Will he manage to keep her safe?
