Previously on “Lie To Me”, the team tried to prevent the assassination of a South Korean ambassador who was taking part in his son’s wedding. Unfortunately, the case took a different turn and the groom was shot instead. This episode managed to captivate mostly due to the novel concept of determining a lie in another culture. This time detecting the truth was a real challenge because the gestures and manners differ from culture to culture.

Tomorrow night, in “Unchained”, Cal and Ria must determine if an imprisoned gang leader has really retrieved or is just acting. Meanwhile, Eli and Gillian investigate the death of a fireman who was killed while he was on duty.
