Over five years, “Lost” bewitched us with mysteries and exciting stories that now draw to an end. The series brings to light its tricks. In just a few hours, the television event of the year begins. Tonight, the aftermath from Juliet’s detonation of the hydrogen bomb is revealed… It’s no secret that Locke played a pretty important role in the recent events, but in the final season he’s portrayed as a more active player than he ever was before. However, does he really know why all these people are on the Island?
As if things weren’t intriguing enough, the Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada impersonates a mystical mystery man who is in charge of a huge time glass which lies inside the Temple. According to the prediction of Jeff Jensen, one of the Entertainment Weekly writers, “attuned to the Island’s magic, perhaps an embodiment of the Island itself, Hiroyuki’s character will help the amnesiac Locke rediscover his destiny to become the Island knight / protector and guide him back, even as dark forces conspire to stop Locke and the rest of the castaways from going back”.
As shown in the promo clip, he’s the person in charge of judging everyone on the Island. What could he be up to? Alongside Sanada, John Hawkes plays Lennon, the “scruffy, edgy, charismatic spokesperson / translator for the president of a foreign corporation”. What role does this foreign company have in the story? More than that, why would the survivors go to the Temple at gun point?
Who will die? Or, how many will meet their death and why? Remains to be seen… To sweeten the waiting, here is a sneak peek that shows what happens after Ben kills Jacob.
