Medium-1 in Medium Season 1 Summary
The show is based on experiences from self-proclaimed spiritual medium Allison DuBois. She claimed to have worked with law enforcement agencies across the country in criminal investigations.

So, do you believe in psychic phenomena?

Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette) is a devoted young wife and mother of three girls: Ariel, Bridget and Marie. She has the extraordinary ability to talk to dead people, see the future in her dreams and read people’s thoughts. Ariel and Bridget share their mother’s psychic gift. And there is Joe… an aerospace engineer and a very supportive husband.

Also a law student, Allison works in the Phoenix District Attorney’s office. Her boss, D.A. Manuel Devalos, sees potential in her talent. As his consultant, Allison interviews suspects and visits crime scenes, using her supernatural intuition to help find key pieces of evidence. She struggles to keep a balance between her work, her parenting and her relationship with her husband.
Patricia-arquette in Medium Season 1 Summary
Patricia Arquette gives Allison a lot of heart and self-confidence. As she begins her new career as a medium, she has to face out skeptics at every step. Despite the fact that there are psycho killers, scary scenes and funky dream sequences, the creators didn’t take the thriller elements farther. They kept the characters more grounded and mundane. The reason is because the series is based on a real person’s life. Allison’s abilities never turn her into a superhero, but remember…

She sees what others can’t…
