Previously on “Private Practice”, after Derek saved his life, Archer returned to his bachelor habits proving he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. By cheating on Naomi and making Addison cover up for him, Archer reopened old wounds. Meanwhile, a child sprang into existence with both male and female sex organs. Due to ethical and medical reasons, Addison and Naomi decided against the surgery.

While co-leading a couples’ therapy group, Violet and Sheldon’ suppressed emotions and problems of communication were brought to the surface. He managed to warm towards her.
Elsewhere, Sam realized he’s still in love with Naomi. Tomorrow night on “Private Practice”, a colleague from St. Ambrose Hospital whips up Addison’s interest. Meanwhile Sheldon and Pete try to convince Violet to take a paternity test to find out who is the father.
