Smallville Season 9 Episode 4 “Echo” Preview

Small904 in Smallville Season 9 Episode 4 Echo

If one were to be malicious, but at the same time realistic, last week’s episode could be described as “Smallville” meets “Resident Evil” and “The Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. Howbeit, “Rabid” interestingly knitted battle scenes, romantic scenes, agony with ecstasy and, last but not least… zombies. As a matter of fact, every drama series seems obliged to make a show of these far famed storylines. Gimmick of one of Zod’s Kandorian soldiers, the virus spread through Metropolis transformed humans into zombies. Unfortunately, the way Chloe and Dr. Hamilton ringed down the crisis seemed totally inappropriate… way too quick and easy. However, the final scenes with the healing rain falling over Clark and Lois were touching.

“Echo” marks the return of the Toyman, who harbours thoughts of revenge. Tess persuades Oliver attend a gala held for Queen Industries, but things change for the worst when the great inventor literally makes an explosive entrance and takes Oliver hostage. One thing we know for sure… the Toyman is determined to settle an old score and he’s not willing to cry craven. In the meantime, Clark continues his training and even gains the ability to hear people’s thoughts. Enjoy the show!
