In the second season, Dean and Sam had defeated the Yellow-Eyed Demon, but they unleashed hundreds of demons in the world. Even worse… Sam got himself killed, forcing Dean to make a deal for his soul.
Two new characters joined the cast this season: the demon Ruby, who becomes Sam’s guardian angel, but has a dark secret and Bela, a thief who specializes in cursed objects, with her own dark secret.
Season three is the darkest so far. The Winchesters become more careless and desperate trying to find a way to free Dean from his deal. There is even a surprisingly sweet ending to a Christmas episode where we learn a little bit more about the boys. Supernatural has had exciting finales and this season makes no exception…
