The Tudors Season 3
“The Tudors” Season 3 Promo

After a long hiatus, the dark, dramatic and sexy series returns on our screens. Portraying in vivid colors the life of Henry VIII, “The Tudors” introduces us into the atmosphere of the court… in the king’s first years of reign when he was wild about glory and love.
King Henry VIII eliminated the Catholicism in favor of Anglicanism. He had six wives (Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard and Catherine Parr) among whom he repudiated two and killed other two for the good of… his people, of course. The adrenalin and intrigues, alliances of situation, suspect deaths and hot love affairs, which succeed after some other in a stunning pace, make from the Tudors saga a fascinating weekly meeting.

Islanded with international conflicts, first season of “The Tudors” discloses a unique history of the young and impulsive tyrant. When his realm is marked by high treason and intrigues, Henry’s effectiveness as king is tested. Meanwhile, his hunger for love leads to a string of affairs until he trysts with Catherine of Aragon and later with Anne Boleyn.
After the Catholic Church’s refuse to confer him a divorce from Catherine, second season finds Henry as the head of the Church of England. Secretly, he marries Anne, but her “failure” to give him a son makes Henry to focus his attention on Jane Seymour. The new season will concentrate on the king’s third and fourth marriage, but also on the devastation of Pilgrimage of Grace.
Although “The Tudors” may not be historically accurate, it’s a fascinating series.
Third season of “The Tudors” premieres on April 5.
Don’t miss it! History never looked so good…
