True Blood Season 1 Episode 2 The First Taste

After a huge cliffhanger crept in the first episode of “True Blood”, keeping us breathless, “The First Taste” unriddles it quite slippy and fairly predictable. The series needs a connected story to interlink the chapters and make it evolve. Following the attack, Sookie suffered many injuries, but fortunately, Bill manages to save her in a “vampire way”. Although we all knew that he will come to her rescue, the idea of superpowers like odd and potent smelling and tasting abilities as a result of vampire blood consumption was quite interesting.
After twelve hours spent in custody, Jason is released “because he just isn’t that smart”. The exploration of vampires mythology and Jason’ sexual escapades make a few sparks fly. Later, Bill pays Sookie’s family a visit, but gets a not so friendly welcome. Although, he’s always so calm and charming, it’s exciting to surprise him only one step away from losing his self-control. During a stroll, Sookie learns that Bill can find her wherever she is because, in addition to increased senses, she now has a more active libido.
Although Tara tries to seduce Jason, he dreams of Dawn. Eventually, at Merlotte’s, a small conflict breaks between the two girls. As if that weren’t enough, Sam resents that Sookie fancies the vampire more than him. Meanwhile, our telepathic waitress drops by Bill’s house, but walks into a few thirsty vampires. More than that, one of them happens to be the same vampire Jason saw Maudette sleeping with in the video tape.
